The zipper is a connecting piece that relies on the continuous arrangement of elements to combine or separate items, and is now widely used in clothing, bags, tents, etc.
1. A fastener consisting of a row of metal teeth or plastic teeth on each of the two belts is used to connect the edge of the opening (such as the mouth of a garment or a bag), and a slider can pull the two rows of teeth into the interlocking position to close the opening ;
2. A chain attached to something (as an object to be lifted or dropped) to tighten, stabilize or guide it.
The composition of the zipper
The zipper is composed of chain teeth, sliders, upper and lower stops (front and rear) or locking pieces. The fastener element is the key part, which directly determines the side pull strength of the zipper. Generally, the zipper has two pieces of chain belt, each chain belt has a row of fastener elements, and the two rows of fastener elements are arranged in a staggered manner. The fasteners on both sides are clamped by the slider, and the fasteners on both sides can be engaged or disengaged by sliding with the help of the pull tab.
1. Tape: a flexible tape woven from cotton yarn, chemical fiber or mixed chemical fiber, used to carry fastener elements and other zipper components;
2, with ribs (bread): the edge of the tape is used to carry the reinforcing part of the metal or plastic teeth;
3. Rope: refers to a rope-like object composed of multiple strands of fibers in the middle of the ribs;
4. Chain teeth (scoops): refers to the teeth of a certain shape after processing of metal, plastic and other materials;
5. Filler cord: a rope made from multi-strand fiber threads and used for the production of nylon zipper chains;
6, chain (chain): refers to the continuous arrangement of teeth;
7. One side zipper chain: the tooth chain is fixed on the cloth belt and called the tooth chain;
8. Chain belt (zipper chain): the chain belt is formed by meshing the two sides of the chain belt;
9. Top stop: It is fixed on the chain belt and stops the slider from sliding out of the chain belt when the chain is pulled together;
10. Bottom stop: a stopper that is fixed on the fastener chain to prevent the slider from sliding out of the fastener chain when the fastener chain is opened, and that the fastener chains on both sides cannot be completely separated;
11. Back & forth head tape: The tape without the element part on the zipper is called the head tape, the upper end is the front head tape, and the lower end is the rear head tape;
12. Cannula (also called pin) (pin separable): a tubular piece that is fixed at the end of the open-end zipper and used to completely separate the chain;
13. Socket (pin box): fixed at the end of the open-end zipper, used to completely separate the square piece of the chain;
14. Two pin: a tube-shaped stopper used for the double-open zipper in cooperation with the cannula;
15. Strengthened tape: a composite sheet used to enhance the bonding strength of the cannula, the socket and the tape, and improve the service life of the zipper;
16. Slider: a moving part that engages and pulls apart the elements;
17. Puller: It is a component of the slider. It can be designed to be connected with the slider body in various geometric shapes or connected with the slider body through an intermediate piece to realize the zipper opening and closing; (can be directly hung, and indirectly hang).
18. The connecter: the intermediate element connecting the slider body and the pull tab;
